1. Make Regular Backups.

2. Look Before you click.  Beware of Fake download buttons, Toolbars and other junkware, and Phishing links.

3. Keep it Clean.  Schedule regular (every 3 months) sessions where you use a can of compressed air to blow dust and pet hair off your cooling-fan blades and out of your case.  This goes for laptops and desktops alike.

√  Sounds so simple.  Now if we can remember to live up to it all year-long, we’ll be doing all right…
